Snow Removal PolicyThe Association accepts the City of Longmont policy on snow removal. Every owner or occupant of a premises must keep the adjacent sidewalk free and clear of snow and ice no later than 24-hours after any snowfall. Homeowners are responsible for the sidewalks surrounding their home and the Association clears any sidewalk adjacent to or in a common area at an accumulation of 2'.
As for the streets, they are City streets and the responsibility of the City to plow. However, the City does not plow residential streets unless in a blizzard condition. The only road through Renaissance that the city plows is Clover Basin Drive. -

Senate Bill 100 PoliciesIn 2005 Governor Bill Owens signed Senate Bill 100 into law, which places new requirements
on homeowners associations. The bill affects several aspects of the operation and governance
of Colorado s common interest communities from how board members are elected to the
policies associations are required to adopt. Homeowners associations are required to comply
with the new law by adopting policies and procedures, pertaining to the Adoption and
Amendment of Policies, Conduct of Meetings, Director Conflict of Interest, Inspection and
Copying of Association Records, Reserve Fund Investments, Notice and Hearings and
Collections.
The Board of Directors for the Renaissance Community has adopted the required seven policies
pursuant to the provisions of the Colorado Revised Statutes 38-33.3-209.5. The policies are on
file at the offices of Countryside Asset Management Corporation and are also posted online at
the Associations website.
